Jeffrey Dollmer released its red band trailer, giving horror and parody fans alike a look at the insane premise that the feature has to offer. The movie is directed by Mark Savage, who previously directed Purgatory Road.
The synopsis of the movie reads, “Dahmer finds a doll in 1991 and performs a ritual in an attempt to transfer his spirit into it but is captured before he can finish his evil plans. For decades, the doll remains locked away in police evidence — until it is finally discarded and finds its way back into the world. In the present day, the doll’s spirit is accidentally summoned and quickly latches onto a young model who bears a resemblance to its former owner.”

What happens in the Jeffrey Dollmer trailer?
The trailer opens with Jeffrey Dahmer coming across a ventriloquist dummy in a dumpster behind a chocolate factory. He takes the dummy home, where it is quickly pointed out how much the dummy looks like him. Dahmer is then shown committing a murder, forcing his victim to focus on the doll. The next shot shows him using some sort of magic to transfer his soul into the dummy.
Dahmer, now possessing the doll, begins committing murders, which are revealed in the trailer one after the other. It cycles through a slew of common horror movie tropes, including a bunch of campers in the forest coming across the dummy as it devours a corpse.
Jeffrey Dollmer stars Charlie Trepany, Chey Crieger, Juliana Destefano, Adam Huss, Eva Hamilton, Mariah Justice, Scott Asmar, Jabarri Bush, Jane Xi, Tom Parnell, and Sean Michael Conway.
