Sense and Sensibility just got a new trailer. Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esmé Creed-Miles explore and bring Austen’s romantic world to life. The preview follows the Dashwood sisters as they face love, family changes, and social expectations.
The story follows sisters Elinor and Marianne Dashwood. After their father’s death, their family loses their money and leaves their safe home. As they get used to their new, simpler life, both sisters get into messy, complicated romantic situations.
Edgar-Jones’ character Elinor develops feelings for Edward Ferrars, played by George MacKay. However, Edward’s family pressures them about their relationship. Creed-Miles’ Marianne is drawn to John Willoughby, played by Frank Dillane.
Marianne’s story also involves Herbert Nordrum’s Colonel Brandon. He becomes another important person in her romantic life as she navigates her feelings for Willoughby.
