What happens in The Man with the Bag trailer?
The movie offers a fresh take on Christmas tales, offering a fun blend of comedy and action sequences. The Man with the Bag teaser sets that festive tone with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s joyful portrayal of Santa Claus. “He’s legendary, larger than life, and goes by many names,” the narrator introduces him.
The preview also lays out the film’s premise as Santa reveals that a rogue elf with a grudge has stolen his iconic red gift bag.
To help him retrieve it, St. Nick recruits a thief, played by Alan Ritchson, from his “Naughty List.” It is now up to the thief to pull off a heist with his crew of skilled misfits. They must return the bag to Santa and save Christmas before it’s too late.
The teaser ends with Schwarzenegger’s Santa gleefully declaring, “I’m back,” a nod to his iconic Terminator line.
“Packed with holiday magic, big laughs, and plenty of heart, The Man With The Bag is a holiday heist adventure about second chances, unlikely friendships, and discovering that sometimes even Santa needs a little help delivering Christmas,” the synopsis adds.
The Man with the Bag marks Schwarzenegger’s return to the Christmas genre after three decades, following Jingle All the Way. In addition to Schwarzenegger and Ritchson, The Man with the Bag also stars Awkwafina, Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, Ken Jeong, Berkeley James, Michael Cyril Creighton, and Jane Krakowski, among others.
