Starting today, the acclaimed 2014 film Gone Girl is officially available to stream on Netflix. In the movie, Affleck played a husband who is accused of killing his wife after she suddenly disappeared. The cast also included Rosamund Pike as Amy, Neil Patrick Harris as Desi, Tyler Perry as Tanner, Carrie Coon as Margo, Kim Dickens as Detective Rhonda Boney, Emily Ratajkowski as Andie, Boyd Holbrook as Jeff, and more.
The film was directed by David Fincher, with Gillian Flynn writing the screenplay. It was based on Flynn’s 2012 novel of the same name. Producers were Reese Witherspoon, Arnon Milchan, Joshua Donen, and Ceán Chaffin. It was executive-produced by Leslie Dixon and Bruna Papandrea. The movie grossed over $370 million at the global box office. For her performance, Pike received a Golden Globe nomination and an Oscar nomination for Best Actress.
