Which MCU star almost appeared in Jackass: Best and Last?
Per entertainment journalist Eric Goldman during a recent Q&A panel, Jackass star Johnny Knoxville confirmed that The Fantastic Four: First Steps star Pedro Pascal was originally meant to star in the Best and Last. However, his appearance was ultimately canceled after he got sick at the last minute. His almost involvement explains his surprise attendance at the film’s recent red carpet premiere. At the moment, details about Pascal’s supposed bit haven’t been revealed.
Jackass: Best and Last was directed and produced by Jeff Tremaine. The movie also stars Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Wee Man (Jason Acuña), Dave England, Danger Ehren (Ehren McGhehey), Preston Lacy, Rachel Wolfson, Jasper, Dark Shark (Compston Wilson), Poopies (Sean McInerney), and Zach Holmes. The R-rated film was executive-produced by Greg Iguchi, Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro, and Andrew Lary. Knoxville also served as a producer alongside Spike Jonze and Shanna Newton.
“Johnny Knoxville and the gang return for one final fling at the big screen. Featuring all-new stunts and stupidity along with the greatest hits and biggest laughs from the past, the film is a joyously raucous celebration of all the mischievous camaraderie that you’ve come to love and expect from these idiots over the past 25 years,” reads the official synopsis. “So, grab your dumb little buddies, raise your glasses, and come experience the cinematic event that promises to be the last time you’ll ever laugh this hard in a theatre.”
