Jason Statham‘s upcoming Mutiny has revealed a brand new poster. The movie will see the Hollywood star alongside Annabelle Wallis and Roland Møller, among others.
What do we see in the new Jason Statham Mutiny poster?
The latest poster for Lionsgate’s Mutiny shows Jason Statham’s character on a huge cargo ship, poised to take down every threat on board. The movie received its first poster back in April alongside an action-packed trailer.
Besides Statham, Wallis, and Møller, the movie also features Adrian Lester in a crucial role.
The official synopsis for Mutiny reads, “After witnessing his billionaire boss’s murder and being framed for the crime, Cole Reed (Jason Statham) boards a cargo ship on a one-man crusade to avenge his boss’ death only to discover an international conspiracy.”
Mutiny is directed by Jean-François Richet from a screenplay by Lindsay Michel and J.P. Davis.
Mutiny will add to the growing list of action movies in Statham’s career. Best known for his roles in the Fast & Furious and The Expendables franchises, the actor was most recently seen in this year’s Shelter movie. Its reception was decent, with a 64% Tomatometer score and 87% Popcornmeter score on Rotten Tomatoes. However, the movie failed to create an impact at the box office, earning just over $49 million worldwide against its $50 million budget.
Statham’s recent films have been commercial successes, however. His 2025 action film, A Working Man, grossed nearly $90 million worldwide against a $40 million budget.
The actor was also seen in another action movie called The Beekeeper two years ago. It also turned into a hit, minting more than $150 million globally again on a $40 million budget.
Mutiny will release in theaters on August 21, 2026.
