Fans will soon be able to watch Keke Palmer’s absurd comedy I Love Boosters at home. The film from Sorry to Bother You director Boots Riley was released in theaters earlier this year.
When are the digital and physical media release dates for I Love Boosters?
NEON has announced that I Love Boosters will be available to rent or purchase on digital platforms on June 23, 2026. Following that, it will then be available to purchase on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on September 22, 2026. Check out the 4K Ultra HD cover for I Love Boosters below.

The film’s short synopsis reads, “A crew of professional shoplifters take aim at a cutthroat fashion maven. It’s like community service.” Hailed by critics as one of the weirdest films of 2026, the film launched to near-perfect reviews upon its debut at SXSW. At the time of writing, I Love Boosters has a supremely impressive 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes with 142 reviews. The audience rating isn’t far behind, sitting at 75% from over 1000 verified ratings.
The film’s physical release has bonus commentary from Riley, cast interviews, “The Making of I Love Boosters” documentary featurette, and a blooper reel.
“It’s about loneliness and overcoming loneliness,”Riley said about the film “And it’s about connection: the ways that people connect with each other, the ways that people feel a part of the world, and how some may look for that connection through something creative, or through other ways.”

The film takes its name from a song in the 2006 Pick a Bigger Weapon album, produced by Riley’s hip-hop band, The Coup. The film’s music is composed by the Oakland band Tune-Yards, who also provided the music for the director’s debut feature.
I Love Boosters features a star-studded cast that includes Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, Taylour Paige, LaKeith Stanfield, Poppy Liu, Eiza González, Will Poulter, Don Cheadle, and Demi Moore. The film was written, directed, and produced by Boots Riley. Aaron Ryder, Andrew Swett, Allison Rose Carter, and Jon Read also serve as producers.
