Daniel Radcliffe‘s Vietnam War movie adds a former co-star to its cast. Titled Trust the Man, the film is written and to be helmed by Will Graham.
Who has joined the cast of Daniel Radcliffe’s Vietnam War movie?
Tony and Grammy-winning actor Jonathan Groff has joined Trust the Man, reports Deadline. Known for his roles in Hamilton, Glee, and Mindhunter, Groff has also previously worked with Daniel Radcliffe on Stephen Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along.
Production on Trust the Man will begin in New Jersey this summer. The story follows an Army intelligence officer tasked with investigating a decorated soldier with a mysterious past. “As surveillance and interrogation deepen, the line between loyalty and obsession blurs,” reads the official logline for the film.
Details on Groff’s role in the war movie remain under wraps. The actor was recently seen in the 2025 Broadway musical Just In Time and is also set to appear in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s upcoming silver screen adaptation of the musical Octet. He will also appear in As You Like It, helmed by Daniel Evans.

Radcliffe, meanwhile, will soon be seen in the third installment of the Now You See Me franchise, set to release later this year.
Trust the Man has Max Linsky, Tonia Davis, Jeffrey Soros, Luke Rodgers, Hailey Wierengo, and Graham as the producers.
Before Groff’s casting, Trust the Man previously featured Lucas Hedges, known for Manchester by the Sea, Ben Is Back, Boy Erased, and Lady Bird, among others. He ultimately had to withdraw from the project due to scheduling issues.
Trust the Man has yet to receive an official release date window.
