Nirvana of course continues to be as popular as they were back in the ’90s, as Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl are being found by new fans everyday – fans that claim they have loved Nirvana and their whole songbook for years. You know, the usual. But while Nirvana had tons of songs, the one that even the most casual fan of course knows is their massive hit “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”

And since you’ve heard countless bands cover this song, I think it is about time we take a listen to what this song sounds like when it is sung by 1000 people. That’s right, 1000. And this is all thanks in part to Rockin’ 1000, who claim to be the “the biggest rock band on Earth.” Perhaps 995 members too big. But hey, it works for them.

Check out this awesome video of this 1000 member band performing Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”

Holy hell, I just feel bad for whoever had to lend their garbage so that this band could practice.
