Rihanna is a longtime fashion lover and devotee and lover, has always been supportive of young jewelry designers, and has been front row for fashion shows all over the world. With the success of Kanye’s Yeezy collab with Adidas, it makes sense for the pop icon to step off the sideline and into the spotlight, and to do so with activewear and sneaker brand, Puma. Named creative director earlier this year, the unveiling of the Fenty Puma collection drew many of fashion and entertainment’s biggest names to catch the first look.

The runway show combined athletic-casual wear with the singer’s beloved gothic flavor (think necklace rosaries and chokers) and flair for the sexy. An array of wearable relaxed separates was paired with the new Puma platform creepers, cropped with lace-up details, sharp sweatshirts, tracksuits, heavy pants with snaps, oversized hoodies, and long coach jackets.
