The freezing outdoor presentation of the Moncler Grenoble Autumn/Winter 2016 Collection at Lincoln Center featured high-performance fabric choices and weather-ready materials that evoked the rich tradition of the Moncler name, offering an authentic take on ski-lifestyle leisure with ready-to-wear collections for both men and women.

Moncler’s eye-catching collection of outerwear offered patterned fabrics, unique stitching and ornate polished adornments with patches, zippers and edged padding details. Color blended for a pop that gives a textural finish to each piece, the fur-trimmed padded jackets, ruched neoprene coats and panel padded sweatshirts all premiered a sharp look in the record subzero temperatures of NYC.

An army of blue-clad models marched in circles and formations outdoors, presenting the new fashion line while an army officer called out orders. Jay Z, a major fan over the years, had his fashion stylist June Ambrose attend the show in the subzero temps. She discussed draping Blue Ivy in Moncler’s children-wear line. Hot chocolate was passed with the Moncler signature logo, as VIPS tried desperately to stay warm in the crowded presentation. Fur hats, flares of loud color and ski-ready eyewear all made the cold event worth the wait. All that was missing was the snow!
