RuckJack is a Jacket that Transforms into a Backpack

A new Kickstarter project for an innovative “transforming jacket” is gaining a lot of traction this week, with RuckJack reaching over 50% of its target goal with 58 days of its crowdfunding campaign still to go.

RuckJack transforms from a jacket into a backpack, making it an ideal piece of clothing for those planning on traveling. Its design ensures that it’s easy to switch between its two functions, with it adopting a “zip, flip and clip” method that can be seen below:

There are three RuckJack style options available, including the black and light gray all-weather RuckJack Sonar, constructed out of taslon fabric, the black and orange light weather RuckJack Switch, made out of Riptop fabric, and the RuckJack Morph children’s option, available in pink and navy blue, which is also suitable for light weather and constructed out of ripstop.

The RuckJack can store a surprisingly large amount of items, with a demonstration highlighting how its backpack variant can hold a sleeping bag, multiple bottles of water, extra clothing and more.

RuckJack is also a sponsor of the charity organization WeForest, with the company planting one tree for every purchase of a RuckJack that is made.

You can check out the RuckJack’s Kickstarter page right here, with the prices for the jacket starting at $85 for the Morph, $125 for the Switch and $156 for the Sonar.
