Spotlight | Noon Goons: Pacific Wear With Pachuco Pride

Noon Goons was founded by California dreamer Kurt Narmore in 2015. The brand is an unexpected but progressive combination of cheeky surf-isms and boxy tailoring that’s reminiscent of ’90s West Coast gangsta gear – like an aesthetic mix of Fast Times At Ridgemont High with Blood In, Blood Out. Now, maybe that sounds like an odd combo, but its drawing from a melting pot of cultures that has long been at the center of SoCal’s heady social milieu.

The Noon Goon look and feel is executed across tees, long sleeved and short, along with killer crewnecks, but it’s their pants and jackets that might make you swoon. Available now, the Club Pant is a cropped, flat, straight leg in khaki or black. Pair with their Membership Jacket (basically an old school, big-buttoned overshirt), and you can have that L.A. vibe with barely any effort at all.

Except the effort it takes to purchase – while available online, Noon Goons can primarily be found in a handful of brick-and-mortars in Japan. Nevertheless, span the Pacific Rim, and you will come up with pure Cali gold.
