Tower Bridge’s New Glass Walkway Will Make You Sweat Just By Looking At It

London’s Tower Bridge has unveiled a new attraction – glass floors along the suspension bridge’s high-level walkways that will be sure to make those afraid of heights tremble with fear.

The £1 million project has seen glass panels being placed above the Tower Bridge that visitors can walk across, and needless to say it’s making us sweat just looking at these images.

The project, funded by the City of London Corporation in partnership with Bridge House Estates, is the first major change to Tower Bridge since its public opening in 1982, and is sure to be a big tourist attraction. With 600,000 people visiting the Tower Bridge Exhibition every year, the City of London will be hoping that those numbers will now rise with thrill-seekers easy to take a walk across the transparent flooring.

Alongside the unveiling of the glass walkway, the Tower Bridge Exhibition has also released an augmented reality app that provides a 360 degree look at the bridge being raised below their feet. If you’re planning to visit the Tower Bridge at any point soon, you can download the app right here.
