London Event Unveils Hot Summer Style Swag

HAPPY PLUGS: From the home of the Northern lights, and a vibrant music and fashion scene in Stockholm, come innie’s and outie’s. Yep, ear plugs for those who like the soft rubber bit sitting right inside the ear, and the ones which rest a bit further out. But the real charm of these earphones are the colors. Cleverly packaged to look like a musical note, these earphones are practically a Pantone catalog of colors, from greens, to blues, to the deluxe range — metallics. At under fifty bucks, they’re competitively priced, but a lot more fun.

QUAY SUNGLASSES: This Australian company has democratized designer-look “sunnies,” as they say. Beyonce wears them, so do the Haim sisters, and Rita Ora. Quay tends toward, bigger is better, with large oval and round shaped lenses. Not everyone can pull these off, but they’re also in the very affordable bracket of sub-$50, available at Topshop.

CONVERSE: Black, smooth, soft leather backpack is all I have to say. I want one.

QUIKSILVER: Very cool collection with practical versatility. My pick — an inky snowboard/ski and street jacket with blonde leather zip pulls and waterproof, fused zips. No more “snow” jackets needed.

ROXY: This surf-wear company has got some great gym kit for girls. Long-sleeved tees with SPF cover go from the gym to the beach and finally, there are shorts perfectly cut for those 5’4” and under. Skinny ski pants are on-trend; I’m told and no more Michelin men.
