Jetclass: Why You Shouldn’t Be Ashamed To Be Fancy

Jetclass is the new age of fancy. We’re not talking Drake, Rihanna or Katy Perry fancy. We mean 007, Aston Martin, Ascot and double vodka crystal goblets fancy. Only it’s not. The brand prides itself on high-comfort, low fuss furnishings that seem to fit perfectly in any upmarket home.

Question is, are you jet-class? The answer is probably “yes” if you like muted pastel lamps coupled with marble table hearths. You’re probably also big on oversized couches with rippled arm rests and plush fabric.

Jetclass serves up the best in Portuguese luxury without pushing it down our gullets. Instead, the bling factor is subdued for more realistic fare. Sure the marble table/barn fire is on the high end of extreme. But the lounge chairs and daybeds found in the same living room space are exquisitely simple.

Jetclass has been serving up its understated brand of luxury since 2001. This year at Maison et Objet they offered a cool, serene color palette that gently nudged us towards spring. No brown-on-brown wood furnishings with brass fixtures here. This decor suggests a quotient of cool with a heavy leaning on upbeat colors and shapes, and soft, smooth textures.
