Angry Apple Customer Destroys Apple Store For Not Offering a Refund

An angry customer destroyed an Apple Store in France, after its employees allegedly wouldn’t offer him a refund.

The unnamed man destroyed a selection of expensive products, including iPhone 7s, iPads and Macbooks, reportedly as a result of the company refusing to reimburse him for one of their products. Though the exact details of his outburst of rage aren’t known, Mashable reports that the man told those watching his tantrum: “Apple is a company that ‘violated’ European consumers’ rights. They refused to reimburse me, I told them: ‘Give me my money back’. They said no. So you know what’s happening? This is happening!”

The man then proceeded to destroy multiple Apple products using his comically over-sized glove, while the Apple Store’s employees and customers watched on. Perhaps he’s just really upset about the whole headphone jack thing?

After causing thousands of euros worth of damage, the man was apprehended by French police, with a second video showing his futile attempts to escape from the mall’s security. In the video the man can be seen repeatedly shoulder-barging a security guard, before attempting to run away and being apprehended shortly afterwards. He is then held against a barricade in the mall, before eventually being throwing through a fire exit. It’s a real emotional rollercoaster:
