Disgruntled Amazon Customer Says Customer Service Rep Put Massive Dildo In His Cart

Let’s be honest: That’s actually pretty funny.

According to Ars Technica, an IT contractor in Ireland who purchased a specialized handbook from Amazon in October was less than pleased when the online retail giant sent him the wrong version and then gave him the runaround when he asked for the correct one.

A man named Pedro said he “wasn’t very happy with the overall shopping experience,” so he “made his displeasure known by providing negative feedback on a customer satisfaction survey, and he figured that was the end of it.”

But the next time he went to make a purchase on Amazon, he noticed that he already had one item in his shopping cart. That item? You guessed it: The Hulk 10.25″ Huge Dong Black from TSX Toys.

Hilarious, right? Well, not so much.

“If my best friend did it to me while I wasn’t watching, of course I would find it funny,” Pedro said. “I’m not a prude. The problem is, I was at the office, in an open space, with people behind me. A guy and two girls were sitting by me when I opened up Amazon and they saw the contents of my shopping basket.”

Naturally, Pedro complained to the same people he was sure put the massive dildo in his cart in the first place: Amazon customer service. It eventually led to a phone conversation with a customer service executive who apologized and forked over a gift certificate worth 100 euros for his troubles.

100 euros? Hey, here’s to hoping that happens to me sometime this week.
