Designs of the Year | From Smart Bicycle Helmets to Recycled Adidas Shoes

The London Design Museum’s Beazley Designs of the Year award nominees have been announced, highlighting the very best designs across the six categories of architecture, digital, fashion, graphics, product, and transport.

The nominees, which consist of designs from 67 individuals across a variety of corporations and brands, feature everything from recycled Adidas trainers through to smart bicycle helmets and the late David Bowie’s Blackstar album cover, highlighting many of the ingenious designs that artists from across the world have created over the course of the past year.

The designs will be featured in an exhibition at the Design Museum from November 24, with it set to take place in the museum’s new location on Kensington High Street. The winner will be announced in January 2017.
