Katy Perry’s Taylor Swift Diss Track Has A Name

Katy Perry has finally decided on a name for her Taylor Swift diss track (Diplo is helping) that she’s been talking about for four months. It’s Katy Perry picking a song title. It’s pretty much what you’d expect.

“Katy’s tentatively titled ‘Crocodile Tears’ is a direct reply to Taylor’s claims that she tried to sabotage Taylor’s tour by hiring her backing dancers,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Crocodile tears is a term used to describe insincere sorrow, and that’s exactly what Katy thinks Taylor tried to achieve in her interview with Rolling Stone back in 2014 when she made those outrageous claims.” The source goes on to say that Katy believes that Taylor was playing the victim and trying to paint Katy as the bad egg, even though she says she had nothing to do with the hiring of Taylor’s former backup dancers. “As far as Katy was concerned, Taylor’s claim was bogus and Katy had nothing to do with the hiring of those dancers,” the source continues. “Katy felt Taylor was trying to make her look bad by saying such things, and paint her as the villain.” The source also adds: “Taylor came out with ‘Bad Blood’ —  a song about that infamous incident, and now it’s Katy’s time to share her side of events. Let the battle begin!”

Crocodile Tears. This is what Katy Perry came up with. Crocodile Tears. I guess she circled everything in her Big Book of Cliches when she wrote Prism, so she’s kinda stuck with a Plutarch proverb to get the club turnt. I assume other tracks on the album include: “All Bets Are Off”, “That Takes The Cake” (ft. Meghan Trainor), “No Skin Off My Nose” (ft. Iggy Azalea), “For Pete’s Sake” (ft. Pete Wentz & Fetty Wap), “Just The Tip Of The Iceberg” (ft. Lenny Kravitz & Adam Levine), and “Another Nail In The Coffin” (ft. Amy Winehouse). Ok, I’m done. I don’t even know I put the (ft.) stuff in there. They stopped making sense after the first one. I guess maybe iceberg sounds Jewish.
