Julianne Hough Did Blackface For Halloween

The only thing I really know about Julianne Hough is that her ass looks fantastic in yoga pants and sometimes she beards for Ryan Seacrest when she's not making horrible movies in her spare time. She's also apparently a huge fan of Orange Is The New Black, and decided to go as one of the characters to a Halloween party this weekend and GOOD GOD MAN WHY?! Cue the words that she should have said before she thought to wear this costume:

I am a huge fan of the show Orange is the New black, actress Uzo Aduba, and the character she has created. It certainly was never my intention to be disrespectful or demeaning to anyone in any way. I realize my costume hurt and offended people and I truly apologize.

I'm not sure why anybody has to say this in 2013, but if you're white and are on the fence about doing blackface, take a hard pass. Hard pass. Nothing good will come of it unless you're about to tap dance and oh god that was racist. I mean, don't do blackface unless you're going as a mammy and are confused about childbirth. Shit. Look, don't even say blackface.
