In an effort to bring all the people of the world together, we’ve decided to show you how beauty is actually a universal language and can be found absolutely anywhere. Today, we travel to Germany (not literally cause we’re on a tight budget) to find the most beautiful German women out there and admire their beauty. Some of these you may already know because they’ve achieved worldwide fame; others you’ll only get to know after reading this article. As they say: “a picture is worth a million words,” so let’s get on with it.

Verona Pooth

We’ll start things off with Verona Pooth, a famous German TV personality (whatever that means nowadays) that first came to prominence thanks to her participation in the Miss Universe beauty pageant. This former Miss Germany beauty is now nearing her 50th birthday but still looks absolutely stunning. In case you need some more unnecessary information in your life, we can also tell you that she’s won two Bambi awards. What is that? It’s an award given annually to the most deserving TV personalities in Germany. Either way, here’s a photo of Verona that tells you all you need to know.

Diane Kruger

You probably know Diane Kruger from her numerous Hollywood roles, but did you know that she’s actually German. She owes her proficiency in English to various student exchange trips she took when she was young. Because of it, she’s able to perfectly mask her German accent without anyone noticing. In fact, there is an anecdote saying that she was at first turned down by Quentin Tarantino for her role in Inglorious Basterds because he wanted someone who’s actually from Germany. Besides that, she’s also fluid in French as well. Some of the films you may have seen her in include Troy (where she played the beauty that caused a war), Mr. Nobody (where she played the elusive love interest, Ann), and the aforementioned Inglorious Basterds (where she excelled as a double spy von Hammersmark).

Natalia Avelon

In case you’re not absolutely sure where you know Natalia Avelon from, she’s the gorgeous brunette that appeared with Ville Valo (from HIM) in the video for Summer Wine. While her film career isn’t exactly stellar, she showed that she can also carry a tune and look absolutely stunning at the same time. One of the main reasons why Summer Wine is such a famous song is her incredible cleavage. Need we say more? Also, if you fancy seeing her act, you can try and watch Uwe Boll’s film adaptation of Far Cry. At least it’s a bit less horrible than his Postal.

Cosma Shiva Hagen

When your mother is the famous punk goddess Nina Hagen, chances are you’ll achieve fame quite early in your life. Unlike her mother, Cosma Shiva Hagen decided to take a different path and become an actress. She started acting when she was just 15 and appeared in nearly 50 movies. When it comes to her strange name, it came to be because her mother Nina was convinced she saw a UFO, so she named her Cosma alluding to cosmos. Shiva, on the other hand, is an Indian deity, so you could say that Cosma Shiva was destined for fame. Of course, her beauty probably helped her with it.

Claudia Schiffer

Back in the 90s, Claudia Schiffer was one of the most recognizable names in the modeling world. Her unique look and tremendous beauty quickly made her a household name and though she’s nearing 50 as well, she’s as striking as she’s always been. Besides modeling, Claudia also appeared in a number of movies and did a lot of charity work over the years. Many believed that her beauty is partly magical because, for a while, she also dated the famous magician David Copperfield. Either way, we’ll let you decide.

That is our personal pick of the 5 most beautiful German women ever. Would you like to add someone to the list? Let us know.
