Pristine beaches, sweeping landscapes, and horrible environmental practices. All of these and more have been included in an ‘honest’ ad for Australian tourism. And like in Honest trailers past, it raises some pretty damn good points.
Tourists planning on coming down for our legendary Barrier reef have now been warned – a fair amount of the thing has been irreparably damaged. The video also reveals we’re doing a hell of a lot to make sure no one finds out about it also.
The clip mixes the funny with the facts and throws some serious shade onto recent decisions in regards to environmental policy for anyone who was kinda on the fence about it.
Names are dropped and scalps are claimed through out the brief but brutal clip, which ends by detailing a special tourism package for asylum seekers – a final savage blow.
