This Guy Just Completed The First Triple Backflip In Moto X History

Nitro Circus is calling it the “biggest trick in action sports history.” And that might not be much of a stretch.

Josh Sheehan just completed, on camera, what is believed to be the first triple backflip in motocross history.

The video has received over two million clicks in just two days. Travis Pastrana states this stunt will put Sheehan within the ranks of Evel Knievel.

Sheehan landed the stunt Tuesday at Pastranaland, the action sports park owned by Travis Pastrana in Maryland.

The 29-year-old Australian had to reach a speed of 60 mph, reaching a height of 80 feet after hitting the 37-foot takeoff ramp built at an 81-degree angle. He practiced the jump by landing into a giant air bag before attempting it at Pastrana’s park.
