Why Grayson Allen Is Being Casted As Duke’s Next Villain

Christian Laettner, J.J. Redick … Grayson Allen?

It seems the internet wants to crown the college Freshman as Duke’s next big villain after his heroics in Monday night’s national championship.

Allen is the white dude who lit up Wisconsin in the second half of Monday night’s game, dropping in 16 points, helping to lead Coach K and the Blue Devils to their 5th all-time national championship.

If you want to know more about the kid, the NY Post released this article Tuesday. There’s also a long list of reasons why you shouldn’t like Allen here, mostly because he slaps the floor on defense. But I like that. He’s intense. So what?

But regardless whether you want him to marry your daughter or you’d like to see him attacked by a pride of lions, below are the videos you have to see.

First, his reel coming out of high school. It’s ridiculous.

And he’s not as little as he looks. He’s 6-foot-4. But still, for basketball, you don’t expect someone that small to be able to do this:

Remember the name, ‘Grayson Allen.’ He’s going to be a star — and cocky one at that — for the next three years. And most of you will hate him for it.
