These Are The 18 Dinosaurs Being Featured In Jurassic World

Indominus Rex gives a whole new meaning to the term “hybrid”

While Jurassic World isn’t likely shooting for 100% paleontological accuracy, we do know (thanks to the Jurassic World website) what will be on display at the fictional theme park that is part of the next film in the beloved franchise. Here’s a list of what will be either minding its own business or actively seeking the death of other dinosaurs or park patrons:

  • Ankylosaurus
  • Apatosaurus
  • Baryonyx
  • Dimorphodon
  • Edmontosaurus
  • Gallimimus
  • Indominus Rex
  • Metriacanthosaurus
  • Microceratus
  • Mosasaurus
  • Pachycephalosaurus
  • Parasaurolophus
  • Pteranodon
  • Stegosaurus
  • Suchomimus
  • Triceratops
  • Tyrannosaurus Rex
  • Velociraptor

Quite a few new additions, but it’ll be good to see the return of some classics, like Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus Rex, and Velociraptor. Seeing the new hybrid-engineered Indominus Rex will surely steal the show, but let’s give the other dinos a chance, yes?

Thanks to our friends over at Cinema Blend for letting us know what’s coming our way.
