PC Hardware Manufacturer Razer To Enter VR Market

PC Gamers will probably have something to say about this, regardless of how they feel about the announcement of the company’s decision to move into VR territory. It’s a hotly debated subject whether head mounted 3D is the wave into the future we should be riding or not.

Razer announced, at CES 2015, their very own VR headset entitled OSVR (Open Source Virtual Reality ecosystem). The company is encouraging gamers and devs alike to try their hand at developing for OSVR (starting at a price of about 200 bucks), and they made a point of emphasizing that it’ll cooperate with Unity 3D, Unreal Engine, and device plugins from various manufacturers.
