BC Model/actress Stephanie Moseley Dies In Murder-Suicide In LA

An up-and-coming actress, model and dancer, BC native Stephanie Moseley was killed in LA yesterday – according to the LAPD and other news sources, her husband, rapper Earl Hayes, shot her before turning the gun on himself.

Moseley was born in Vancouver, and her family still currently resides in BC. She moved to LA in 2004 and danced with the crews of Britney Spears and Janet Jackson, and, according to her website, by the age of 25 she was being sought after by artists like Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Usher, Chris Brown, and Eve. She forayed her talents into acting, appearing as Jamie Foxx’s wife in his TV special, and then going on to appear in “Hellcats,” “Once Upon a Time,” and the flick “Twilight Breaking Dawn: Part 1.” Her most recent projects included a reoccurring role on “Hit the Floor,” which also stars Dean Cain, as well as the movie “The Best Thanksgiving Ever.”

Several celebrities took to their social media to express their condolences to the Moseley family, including actress Ashley Tisdale, who tweeted, “RIP Stephanie Moseley. I’ll always remember dancing with you on #hellcats. Such a beautiful kind spirit. I’m praying for your family.”
