Rockstar Games has made a statement regarding a day-one patch, stating that a few last minute fixes and optimizations are needed and will be ready for the game via patch download on the first day of release.
While a huge majority of you will receive an automatic update while online with their PS4 or Xbox One, Rockstar Games made a point of saying that everyone needs to install this update to “experience the game properly”.
Grand Theft Auto V will release for the PS4 and Xbox One on November 18th. Make sure to check out the new first person mode that’s exclusive to current-gen consoles.
