The B-Movies Podcast #193: The Best Horror Films of the 1990s
Did the 1990s suck for horror movies? Eh… kinda. But The B-Movies Podcast is highlighting the best horror movies of the 1990s anyway in the latest, all-new episode!
Join hosts William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold as they run down their picks for the ten best horror movies of the 1990s, and argue about what qualifies as a horror movie in the first place (the 1990s were a weird time for the genre). Until Scream came along and brought about the nouveau slasher boom, horror movies were floundering to find an identity in the decade that didn’t seem to be afraid of anything. But there are a few classics and bonkers oddities that deserve a special mention during the Halloween season.
Also on this week’s B-Movies Podcast, William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold review the brand new movie releases Ouija, John Wick, Force Majeure and VHS: Viral. Two of them are great. One of them sucks. One them’s just alright. Find out which ones are which!
And attention, Los Angeles residents! The B-Movies Podcast will be hosting a midnight screening of the 1999 sci-fi comedy Galaxy Quest at the Nuart Theatre on November 21, 2014. Hosts William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold will be in attendance to introduce the film and give out some really cool prizes. Tickets are already on sale (and selling fast), so be sure to pre-order yours ASAP!
