Mystery TV becomes Crime + Investigation

On November 3rd Mystery TV will become Crime + Investigation, however the schedule will remain centred around crime drama series. New exclusive unscripted programming is also being added to the network that will bring viewers closer to the truth behind infamous murders, psychic phenomena, and villainous crimes.

The launch of Crime + Investigation further extends the partnership between Shaw Media and A+E Networks, which already brings Canadian viewers brands as HISTORY, H2, Lifetime, and FYI.

Crime + Investigation’s lineup will include hit series such as “Law & Order,” “NCIS,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “Rookie Blue,” and “Haven.” Exclusive docuseries joining the Crime + Investigation schedule this fall include “My Haunted House,” “The Haunting of…,” and “I Killed My BFF.”

“With series that take viewers behind the crimes and into the investigations, Mystery TV has evolved into Crime + Investigation, an internationally renowned brand that will captivate viewers with suspenseful dramas and intriguing stories of real crime,” said Barbara Williams, Executive Vice President of Broadcasting at Shaw Communications and President of Shaw Media. “Adding a leading international brand in true crime programming only strengthens Shaw Media’s extensive portfolio of dynamic specialty brands in Canada.”

As part of the rebranding, Crime + Investigation will be available as a free preview to Rogers Digital customers from November 4th to December 11th (see local listings for more information).
