Better Call Saul Teaser Trailer Released

US network AMC has delivered “Breaking Bad” fans the cheekiest of teasers: a 10-second trailer of the highly-anticipated “Better Call Saul” prequel.

Now slated for US release in February after already suffering a network push back, fans of the hugely popular Vince Gilligan creation were treated on Monday to the first taste of Bob Odenkirk in his lead role as shifty Albuquerque attorney Saul Goodman, the legal representative of chem teacher turned meth cook Walter White (Bryan Cranston) in the original “Breaking Bad”.

In the clip, Saul is seen pedalling the importance of having a ‘do-it-all’ lawyer.

“Lawyers, we’re like health insurance- you hope you never need it, but man oh man, not having it? No…”

Producer Gilligan recently blamed himself for the “Better Call Saul” delay.

“We could have made the deadline, but I am slow as mud,” Gilligan told The Hollywood Reporter last month. “I still feel I’m very slow for television.

AMC is ensuring BCS won’t be a cheap spinoff. Already confirmed for at least two seasons, constructing a more detailed Saul character originally posed a problem for the Gilligan and his team.

“I thought it was going to be easy,” he said of flushing out the Goodman identity. “‘Oh, we know who this guy is.’ But we didn’t know this guy at all. He was a supporting player. It’s an interesting process.
