enRoute Magazine Seeks To Find The Best Restaurants In The Country

Every year enRoute, Air Canada’s magazine, releases its list of Canada’s Best New Restaurants, and voting is now open for this year’s competition for the public to choose the top 10.

From Tofino to St. John’s, Victoria to Halifax, readers are encouraged to “vote with your fork” and then enter for a chance to win a trip to enRoute’s gala event. Restaurants that opened between June 2013 and June 2014 were considered for this year’s list, and enRoute’s food writer, Andrew Braithwaite, will narrow down the list to his top 10, which will then be featured in their November issue.

This is the second year of the People’s Choice poll. Eight restaurants from Toronto made the preliminary voting list, as well as six eateries in Montreal and four in Vancouver. Other cities represented on the list include Saskatoon, Edmonton, Surrey, Ottawa, Calgary, and Quebec City.

Starting on November 1st, readers will be able to download the new updated enRoute Eats app, which includes details about this year’s top 10 restaurants as well as previous years’ winners and a number of enRoute-recommended restaurants across the country.
