This week, Vertigo Comics is releasing The Wake # 9, the penultimate issue of Scott Snyder and artist Sean Murphy’s epic miniseries about a world greatly transformed. Or as the description puts it, “a post-apocalyptic USA only partially above sea level [and] a country overrun by corrupt leaders fearful of horrific mermaids.”
In this exclusive preview, Leeward recounts some of the strange and bizarre creatures that she and her crew have encountered on their quest. But Leeward’s quest isn’t over yet…
