VIDEO: First Trailer for New HBO Rapture Drama ‘The Leftovers’ Debuts

What if The Rapture happened…but you didn't know it?  Millions of people — two percent of the world's population — are gone, but you're still shuffling around on Earth, wondering where the hell all those other people went.  In fact, nobody's really sure why there's a whole lot more elbow room around the planet, but it's pretty damn spooky, right?

That's the premise behind the new HBO series "The Leftovers," for which you can see the first full trailer above.

The show is exec-produced by "Lost" mastermind Damon Lindelof, so if you have any reservations about jumping in on a new mystery-driven series by Lindelof after the way "Lost" wrapped up — well, consider yourself warned now.

"The Leftovers" stars Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Christopher Eccleston, Liv Tyler, Charlie Carver, Max Carver, Carrie Coon, Ann Dowd, Michael Gaston, Emily Meade, Annie Q, Margaret Qualley, Amanda Warren and Chris Zylka.  You can check out the first episode when the series begins its 10-episode run Sunday, June 29 on HBO.
