March Madness 2014: Don’t Trust Obama With Your Bracket

This year’s NCAA men’s basketball tournament promised fans with a perfect bracket a cash prize of a billion dollars, courtesy of Warren Buffet, a man with more money than sense.  It caused quite the buzz and led to bracket-mania, with everyone seemingly getting in on the action.

Almost three weeks later, no perfect bracket remains and while our bracket has gone by the waist side, we thought it might be fun to take a look at how President Obama did.

Maybe he should get an octopus to do it next year, you know like when Paul the Octopus accurately picked the 2010 FIFA World Cup results.

The President has just one team left (Florida) as Final Four action gets set.

But fear not, the Huskies made sure not to get on Obama’s bad side, tweeting after the win:

Obama admitted when compiling his picks that it had been a while since he had won a pool – and had about the same success last year, guessing just one of the Final Four teams correctly.

There’s always next year, but for now don’t give up your day job worrying about healthcare, marijuana and Russia.
