HBO Canada Announces April Premieres

HBO Canada has announced two new series that will be premiering on the network next month: Silicon Valley and VEEP.

Created by Emmy Award winner Mike Judge (“King of the Hill”) and inspired by his own experiences as a Silicon Valley engineer in the late 1980s, the eight-episode, half-hour comedy series premieres Sunday, April 6th at 10pm, followed by the Season 3 premiere of HBO’s comedy series “VEEP,” starring Emmy Award winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus at 10:30pm.

Both series follow the highly anticipated Season 4 debut of HBO’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning series “Game of Thrones,” premiering at 9pm. All new programming airs day-and-date with HBO in the U.S. HBO Canada is a multiplex channel of Corus Entertainment’s Movie Central (Western Canada) and Bell Media’s The Movie Network (Eastern Canada).

All new HBO programming airs day-and-date with HBO in the U.S. In Eastern Canada, episodes will be available on TMN GO and HBO Canada OnDemand. In Western Canada, episodes will be available in High Definition on HBO Canada HD and On Demand, via mobile and online with participating service providers.
