Bad Words VIDEO: Jason Bateman

Bad Words may be Jason Bateman’s debut as a feature film director, but he’s actually been directing since he was a teenager, starting with an episode of the TV series “Valerie.” CraveOnline’s own William “Bibbs” Bibbiani was very eager to ask him about that, but then something went wrong, and Jason Bateman just wouldn’t let him off the hook.

In this exclusive video interview, Jason Bateman accuses William Bibbiani of being on ecstasy, then restarts the interview before finally talking about directing as a teenager, accumulating filmmaking knowledge for decades in order to direct his first feature, what you should never do while directing a comedy and working on a short shooting schedule. He also completely fails to spell Bibbs’ last name.

Bad Words is now playing in select theaters, and expands nationwide on March 28, 2014.
