There’s a television show called “Knife Fight,” which despite the evocative name, is actually a reality competition series that pits rival chefs against each other. There is no knife fight in “Knife Fight.”
But this… this is a knife fight.
For those of you coming late into NBC’s “Hannibal,” the series updates Thomas Harris’ iconic serial killer with Mads Mikkelsen brilliantly portraying Dr. Hannibal Lecter and Hugh Dancy as FBI Special Agent Will Graham. During the first season, Hannibal took advantage of Will’s mental issues to expertly frame Will for his own crimes. Now, even Will’s closest friends think that he’s a serial killer and Hannibal is free to murder with impunity.
However, the opening scene of “Hannibal” Season 2 shows us a flash forward of what happens when Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) finally realizes the truth. And let’s just say that Hannibal has no intention of letting Jack escape with his newfound knowledge.
“Hannibal” Season 2 premieres this Friday, February 28 on NBC.
