‘Supernatural’ Spinoff Casts Nathaniel Buzolic & Lucien Laviscount

Next season, The CW may have a “Supernatural” spinoff on the schedule. And we’ll meet at least two of the new characters before the end of the ninth season.

According to TVLine, Nathaniel Buzolic (pictured above) and Lucien Laviscount are the first two actors to sign on for “Supernatural: Tribes. Laviscount will play Ennis Roth, a former police academy trainee who becomes a monster hunter after his fiancée dies in the crossfire of a battle between hunters and monsters on the streets of Chicago.

Buzolic will portray David Hayden, a shapeshifter who turned his back on his monstrous nature to live as a human. Both Buzolic and Laviscount will make their first appearances in character during the twentieth episode of “Supernatural” Season 9; which is serving as a backdoor pilot for “Tribes.”

Prior to his newest role, Buzolic appeared on two seasons of “The Vampire Diaries” as Kol, in addition to his appearances in “Pretty Little Liars,” “Crownies” and “All Saints.” Laviscount is primarily known for his roles on British television, including “Grange Hill,” “Coronation Street,” “Episodes,” “Skins” and the original incarnation of “Shameless.”

“Supernatural: Tribes” was developed by “Supernatural” veterans Andrew Dabb, Jeremy Carver and Robert Singer. If “Tribes” is ordered to series, it will explore Roth’s quest to rid Chicago of all things supernatural against the backdrop rival monster factions who control the city’s criminal underworld.
