Charlie Strong was hired by the Texas Longhorns earlier this month to fill the shoes of the exiting Mack Brown. Strong has had tremendous success at Louisville behind players such as Teddy Bridgewater, evidently running a tight ship in the process.
A photo of his team rules was somehow leaked online — such as right here — showing the extreme yet not unsustainable expectations for his team.
I know nothing about Strong, other than his expectations for his team are just that. Two things are certainly clear: Strong is going to recruit the right players and those already there better stay sharp.
Finding out if college athletes can live up to these standards anymore are sure to be questioned by many. Either way it shows a lot about Strong’s character.
