Benjamin Bratt Targets Jack Bauer In ‘24: Live Another Day’

At the end of “24,” Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) was branded a fugitive and forced to leave his country behind. When “24” returns later this year, the U.S. government will still be chasing Jack down.

Zap2It is reporting that Benjamin Bratt has joined the cast of “24: Live Another Day” as CIA agent, Steve Harris, the man in charge of the operation to capture Jack after he resurfaces in London.

Bratt is perhaps best known for his roles in “Private Practice” and “Law and Order” on television, in addition to starring in several feature films including Traffic, Demolition Man and Miss Congeniality. Bratt also lent his voice to Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 1 & 2, as well as Despicable Me 2.

Earlier this week, Fox announced that former “Chuck” star Yvonne Strahovski will also be in “24: Live Another Day” as Kate Morgan, another CIA agent on Harris’ team. Other new additions to the cast include Gbenga Akinnabe as CIA agent Erik Ritter and Giles Matthey as a CIA tech named Jordan Reed.

Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kim Raver and William Devan will also join Sutherland in reprising their “24” roles in the upcoming miniseries.

“24: Live Another Day” will premiere on Fox with two back-to-back episodes on Monday, May 5.
