Disapproving H.S. Commit Mom Repeats Head Shake

Recruiting is not exactly a shining beacon of comedy gold, but golden lighting has apparently struck twice.

Two years ago, April Justin made news when her son, Landon Collins — the No. 1 ranked safety — chose Alabama on live television over her preferred LSU. She couldn’t keep her displeasure to herself as she shook her head and said LSU was a better place for her son. Being from New Orleans, it was understandable.

The internet of course exploded. Fans used it as fodder. Mothers took sides. Magazine interviews occurred. Videos went viral.

Thursday, Mrs. Justin did it again.

This time, her son, Gerald Willis III, got to announce his decision on live TV during an ESPN broadcast. Once again, one of her sons spurred her beloved Tigers of LSU. This time, the son chose the Florida Gators. And once again, Mrs. Justin couldn’t contain herself, shaking her head and stating the opinion that Louisiana State University is the best in the land.

After seeing how she embarrassed the boys on live television, is it any wonder why they want to move out of state?
