Bill Cosby Special To Air Exclusively On Comedy

Bill Cosby’s new TV special “Bill Cosby: Far From Finished” will air exclusively in Canada on Comedy, and will be the comedian’s first television special in more than 30 years.

Shot this past summer at the Cerriots Performing Arts Centre in Los Angeles, the 90-minute stand-up event features Cosby’s unique story-telling and renowned sense of humour, covering familiar ground of relationships, marriage, and children. It will air on November 30th at 9pm.

Cosby overcame television’s racial obstacles by becoming the first African-American to co-star on a drama series with the three-time Emmy Award-winning “I SPY.” Later, Cosby created and produced the Emmy Award-winning cartoon series “Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids,” which began airing in the 1970s and then was produced into a film in 2004. But Cosby’s greatest contribution to American entertainment and culture was “The Cosby Show,” a series that ran from 1984-1992. Cosby has received the Kennedy Center Honors, the Presidential Medal of Freedom (America’s highest civilian honour), the Mark Twain Prize for American Humour, and the Marian Anderson Award.
