FX Sets ‘Justified,’ ‘Archer’ 2014 Premiere Dates

Since the launch of FX’s sister channel FXX, most of the signature FX comedies have migrated to FXX. However, Danny McBride’s animated comedy “Chozen” is now the first series to jump from FXX to the original network.

FX has announced release dates for most of its Winter 2014 lineup. On Monday, January 13, “Archer” will move it its new night alongside “Chozen.” “Justified” Season 5 will premiere a few days earlier on Tuesday, January 7.

Meanwhile on FXX, the former FX comedy, “Legit” will return for a second season on its new network in February alongside “Ali G: Rezurection;” which will include new introductions with Sasha Baron Cohen and every episode of “Da Ali G Show” from its run on HBO.

In the announcement, FX also released a description of “Justified” Season 5 which says that “Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) confronts the Crowes, a deadly, lawless family from Florida intent on settling in Harlan with new criminal enterprises in mind. Meanwhile, Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) struggles to free his imprisoned fiancée Ava (Joelle Carter) as he partners with the Dixie Mafia’s Wynn Duffy (Jere Burns).”

“The Americans” is still slated for a return in February 2014, with a specific date to be announced at a later time.
