In just over a month, BBC will simulcast “Doctor Who: Day of The Doctor” in 75 countries around the world in celebration of the 50th anniversary of “Doctor Who.” And yet BBC still hasn’t released the trailer we saw at Comic-Con!
But with only a few weeks until the November 23rd premiere of “Day of The Doctor,” BBC America has released a few photos from the special that will bring David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor and Billie Piper’s Rose Tyler back to the series for the first time since 2010!
The Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) and his companion, Clara Oswald (Jenna-Louise Coleman) narrowly survived the events of the seventh season, which exposed the Doctor’s greatest secret… a hidden incarnation played by screen legend John Hurt.
“Day of The Doctor” will bring the three Doctors back together as a new crisis unfolds. And according to BBC America, “Day of The Doctor” will get a few 3-D screenings in the United States, with locations to be announced soon.
In the meantime, enjoy the new pictures!

Doctor Who: Day of The Doctor
It's not a celebration without a movie style poster!
-
David Tennant as The Tenth Doctor
Welcome back, David Tennant!
-
Matt Smith as The Eleventh Doctor
Our reigning Doctor... but not for much longer. Matt Smith's penultimate adventure will find him teaming up with Tennant's Tenth Doctor.
-
The Hurt Doctor
John Hurt is co-starring as a mystery incarnation of The Doctor. Although my guess is that Hurt's character is the actual Ninth Doctor, who fought in the Time War.
-
Jenna-Louise Coleman as Clara Oswald and Jemma Redgrave as Kate Stewart
The Doctor's companion, Clara meets Kate Stewart, the head of UNIT.

The Doctor Hangs Around
Perhaps he just wanted some air? Or maybe someone else is flying his TARDIS away...

This November 23rd, it's on.
