Ohio State Football’s Classy Move

Kudos to Ohio State for showing some major class Saturday.

Dan Tiberi is a sports anchor at 10TV in Columbus who lost his 21-year-old daughter Maria on Sept. 17 when her car collided with a semi. OSU honored Tiberi and his family at the stadium but what happened after the game is what was so moving.

Tiberi took a short leave from his duties to mourn, and made an emotional return to the air last Thursday. Tiberi, in tears, thanked Urban Meyer and the rest of the Ohio State program the support. On Saturday, Tiberi returned to Ohio Stadium for Ohio State’s game against Wisconsin. After the Buckeyes closed out their first Big Ten win of the year, the entire team stopped to give Dom a hug.
