Earlier this year, STARZ wrapped up its epic “Spartacus” TV series after three seasons with “Spartacus: War of The Damned;” which brought the saga to its bloody conclusion.
When “War of The Damned” began, Spartacus (Liam McIntyre) and his forces had grown into an army of 30,000 former slaves who were looking for revenge against the Romans. With Crixus (Manu Bennett), Gannicus (Dustin Clare) and Agron (Dan Feuerriegel) as his faithful generals, Spartacus seemed poised to strike at the Roman empire.
However, the Romans have sent Crassus (Simon Merrells) and Caesar (Todd Lasance) to put down the rebellion. And they may prove to be the most dangerous adversaries that Spartacus has ever faced.
On Tuesday, September 03, Anchor Bay Entertainment will release Spartacus: War of The Damned – The Complete Third Season on DVD and Blu-ray; which will include all ten episodes of the third season. The Blu-ray editions will have extended episodes and audio commentaries, but both sets include behind-the-scenes featurettes and never-before-seen footage.
