deadmau5 releasing new album

Electro-house music fans are stoked with the announcement that Toronto music producer and performer deadmau5 is releasing a new album entitled “album title goes here,” which is due out in September.

The Canadian musician, who originally hails from Niagara Falls, Ontario, recently said he needed to slow down, however that didn’t stop him from coming out with his sixth studio album, which will contain a total of 13 tracks. His last project, “4×4=12,” which hit shelves in 2010, earned him an Grammy nod.

deadmau5 is one of the most popular electro-house artists today, having worked in conjunction with such musicians as  Kaskade, MC Flipside, Rob Swire of Pendulum, Skrillex, Bighorse, and Steve Duda under the BSOD alias. Known for performing with an oversized mouse head and putting on impressive light shows, he’s been nominated for four Grammy Awards, won three International Dance Music Awards, as well as three Junos on home turf.

He was involved in a brief Twitter battle with Her Madgesty, Madonna, earlier this year when he criticized the Material Girl for apprently promoting MDMA (or “Molly”), which she later tweeted and denied.

Look for deadmau5’s latest project “album title goes here,” coming out on September 25th.
