Kali Hawk & Jennifer Bartels Join The New ‘In Living Color’

Back in October, Fox and Keenan Ivory Wayans announced a revival of the classic sketch comedy series, “In Living Color” as a pair of half-hour specials timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the Fox network in April. And while the debut of the “In Living Color” specials appears to have been pushed back, two new cast members have just joined the project.

According to Deadline, Kali Hawk and Jennifer Bartels have signed on for the “In Living Color” comedy specials, joining Waynes, Jermaine Fowler and Lilrel Howery.

Hawk competed on the fifth season of “Last Comic Standing” in addition to her appearances in several feature films, including Couples Retreat, Get Him To The Greek, Pushing Thirty, Bridesmaids, Answers to Nothing and We the Peeples. More recently, Hawk has recurred on the Fox sitcom “New Girl” as Shelby.

Bartels is an actress and a comedian who performs with the Upright Citizens Brigade in addition to her previous role in “Mayne Street,” commercial appearances and a cameo role in the upcoming Men In Black III.

The “In Living Color” specials will be filmed in April and the first one may air in May, but no debut date has been confirmed by the network. It’s also unclear if Waynes will be the only performer to return for the new incarnation of the series.
